After a long road trip ( work related )  from Edmonton , St. Paul ,Calgary ,  Lethbridge & ;back to Edmonton I thought I should post some pics of the journey...First stop was Saddle Lake just outside if St Paul...Every twon in Alberta has some monument ,  Saddle Lake  has this

After a wild night in St Paul its off to Calgary  where I took this  view of  downtown Calgary  from my 6th floor window

We have all seen downtown Calgary views , so I thouhgt the total opposite view was in order...Next pic is just outside of Standoff Alberta ...

When in Standoff where does one have lunch ? ..Where else but the Health Center for  Indian Tacos ..What gives them the native " twist " is the taco topping on a fluffy , gloden brown piece if deep fried bread

Yes  they were very good  at $5.00..even better deal at 2 for $10.00.  Standoff to a night in Calgary , same room , same view ..Next day breakfast at the Top Brass Pub with this guy staring down at the diners ..

Breakfast done , followed by a quick drive back to Edmonton ..Had to negotiate some of the " puddles " caused by a brief warm spell

Distanced traveled ..1624 km in 4.5 days...I dont know how long distance truck drivers do it ?..Oh yea ..they drive drunk ..
