new American classic , wine & vinyl

After a few days from blogging and with a new digital camera I am back posting..
First pic is of a new American classic dish I have been eager to make,Chicken & Waffles..I used my new deep frier for the chicken . Batter stuck to the basket so I have to look into why that happened .  Waffles I added onion ; garlic , and the gravy was seasoned with onion , garlic  chili peppers..Tasted great, gravy gave it the heat but the combination semed odd...I will try it again !

 Next I was testing how close I can get to objects with my new camera ..Pic is of wine I bottled Sunday morning..
Toro an agressive Spanish Red , a blend of Tempanillo and Grenache !..If I can let it age a while maybe Ill taste its agressiveness !..

And while bottling thought I would put on this great artist..Three guys rocking their way thru Britian with their hit Purple Haze ( as the announcer claimed on the first track )

This Hendrix BBC session is well worth a listen..Great version of Hey Joe ..Listening to Hendrix on vinyl is the only way to go..I can hear the depth , complexity of his playing CDs do not seem to get across..I know you have to get up , turn the record over but its worth the effort !
